Gordon has been the inspiration of the Cherry Classics for over 25 years and is a leading professional Trombonist in North America,
having performed as Principal Trombonist of the Vancouver Symphony, and the CBC Radio Orchestra from 1974 to 2009. Gordon retired from his orchestral position in June 2009 and is devoting more time to publishing, performing and teaching.
As well, Gordon has taught hundreds of brass students over 34 years at the University of British Columbia and many summer Festivals.
