TRADITIONAL WEDDING CEREMONY
The Cherry Classics wedding ceremony samples our own collection of some the most famous Classical and Popular melodies. Each melody has been custom arranged by us to add beauty to your special occasion. Each selection you hear should be enough to give you the flavour of the music and quality you would expect from top professional musicians.

You may wish to choose music for the following parts of the ceremony: for the processional, one selection for the wedding party and a second selection for the Bride's walk down the aisle. Music is also very effective during the signing of the register which takes about 3 to 5 minutes. Your final selection will be a recessional, played at the conclusion of the ceremony.

THE CEREMONY
1. Processional (Chassidic)
This Lubavitsch Nigun is a song without words, inspired by the love of God.

2. Mi Ho'Ish (Chassidic)
Who is the man that desires life and many days that he may see good?
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking falsehood.
Turn away from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it.

3. Lubavitsch Nigun #1 (Chassidic)
This Nigun, mystical in nature, is comprised of four sections and is one of deep meaning for Lubavitchers. It was composed by the first Lubavitch Rebbe over two hundred years ago and has been passed on from generation to generation. It is performed at every Lubavitch wedding ceremony.

4. Eli Ata (Chassidic)
Thou art my God and I will give thanks unto Thee.
Thou art my God, I will exult thee.

5. Elecha (Chassidic) I cried unto Thee, O Lord, I appealed to my God.
Hear O Lord and be gracious unto me;
Lord be Thou my helper.

6. The Eucalyptus Grove / Chorshat Ha-ekaliptus (Israeli)
The Grove of Eucalyptus, the bridge, the wooden boat and the scent of mint floating above the water - all these have remained the same as if untouched by the passing of time.

7. Dodi Li / Song of Songs, King Solomon (Israeli)
My beloved is mine and I am his that feedeth among the lilies.

8. Erev Shel Shoshanim (Israeli)
An evening fragrant with roses. Let us go out to the orchard. Myrrh, spices and frankincense shall be as a threshold for your feet.

9. Lev Tahor (Chassidic)
Create me a clean heart, O God;
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Cast me not away from Thy presence;
And take not Thy holy spirit from me.

10. Yedid Nefesh (Chassidic)
Beloved of the soul, merciful Father, draw Thy servant unto Thy will, that swift as a hart he may run to prostrate himself before Thy majesty. Finding Thy love sweeter than the honeycomb and every tempting savor.

11. Ma Navu, Isaiah 52:7 (Israeli)
How beautiful are upon the mountains the feet of the messengers of good tidings that publish peace, happiness and salvation.

12. Yerushalayim Shel Zahav (Israeli, composed by Naomi Shemer)
Jerusalem of Gold, of copper and light I shall accompany all the songs dedicated to you.

13. Bilvolvi (Israeli) In my heart I will erect a sanctuary to glorify His honor.
In the sanctuary I will place an altar to acknowledge His splendor.
For the eternal light I will take the fire of Isaac's sacrifice
And with this, my singular soul, I will sacrifice before Him.

14. K'var Achare Chatzot (Israeli) Midnight has passed. Before the stars fade grant another moment to those in love.

15. Erev Ba (Israeli)
Again the flock is flowing to the outskirts of the city and the dust rises up from the paths. Far away the bells accompany the coming of the shadows. Evening comes. Evening comes.

16. Ma Avarech (Israeli)
"How shall this child be blessed?" the Angel asked. And he blessed him with a smile and with eyes that could see all living things; and with a heart that could feel all that is seen.

Fairest among maidens, let your eyes shine upon me. Come beloved, reach out your arms to embrace me again and again.

18. Rochok Mishuoti (Chassidic)
Thou art far from my help at the words of my cry.
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
